Thru-Rod, Thru-Bore Hydraulic Cylinder

Through-rod, through-bore double acting hydraulic cylinder designed & manufactured by Interfluid hydraulics Ltd to operate the grab fingers on a robotic arm handling aircraft turbine blade assemblies in an aircraft engine factory.

Our remit was that the cylinder required a very low friction sealing arrangement to allow precise movement & thus facilitate delicate handling of the expensive and complex assemblies.
