Bespoke Servo Hydraulic Cylinder

40mm bore through-rod servo cylinder designed & manufactured by Interfluid hydraulics Ltd to power a rig for fatigue testing of materials used to join wind turbine blades to the turbine hub.
The cylinders are designed to withstand high-speed reciprocal movement to replicate the effect of differing wind speed on the blade assemblies. The cylinder was supplied fitted with a Moog servo valve & a power unit designed to drive the cylinder on a continual basis for long-term testing.
